Vahdettiryakioğlu's distribution belts, which are designed for use in both diesel and gasoline engines, are applicable to both cars and commercial vehicles.

The use of new materials makes it possible to produce belts with different structures, and suitable tooth profiles improve the performance of modern motors.

Today, belts are subjected to demanding working conditions and speeds that seemed impossible just a few years ago:

  • In some applications, diesel fuel has a high injection pressure exceeding 2000 bar.
  • Multi-valve engines with high-emission twin camshafts.
  • High-powered motors and operating temperatures above 120°C.

They must also guarantee:

  • Noise reduction
  • Tolerance in limited/narrow dimensions
  • Balanced variation/change in working belt sizes.
  • High resistance to tissue abrasion.
  • Longer lifespan/operation

Structures:

  • Chloropen is generally a first-generation quality belt that has not been subjected to major stresses such as operating at temperatures above 70°C or high operating intensity.
  • The HSN system exhibits excellent resistance to high temperatures up to 130 °C and to impacting density.
  • HT belts are coated with a PTFE film texture, a highly wear-resistant material, and the texture and tread patterns on the belt are designed to minimize wear. This design ensures maximum belt life in high-injection pressure engines. They are available for TDI Audi and VW, TDCi Ford, Dci Renault, and JTDm Fiat engines. In some applications, a textured backing is incorporated to increase and balance resistance to lateral wear.
